Mission Statement
The mission of Greenbrier Valley Academy is to provide a Christ-centered curriculum which emphasizes not only academics, but the developm, ent of Christ-like characters in its students.  The curriculum at Greenbrier Valley Academy includes teaching respect for others and emphasizes honesty, truthfulness, and courtesy.  It is our goal to produce young people who will be ready for Jesus to come.

Our Philosophy
God created man and woman, seting them above the rest of His creation.  In order that they might properly rule God's creation, they were given a physical body, a mind with the ability to reason and communicate with their fellow men, and a spirit, whereby they could commune with their Creator.

True education must establish in the mind of the student that God has created him or her with a phusical, mental, social, and spiritual nature, and that only through development in each area can he or she hope to grow into a whole man or woman.

"To restore in man the image of his Maker, to bring him back to the perfection in which he was created, to promote the development of body, mind, and soul, that the divine purpose in His creation might be realized . . . this was to be the work of redemption.  This is the object of education, the great object of life" (Education, p. 15).

Greenbrier Valley Academy is operated in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
